Community Guidelines

WavClip is built on authentic, respectful, and safe content. These guidelines protect every person who appears on camera, every interviewer who steps onto the street, and every creator who uses this platform.

Consent & Privacy

  • Always obtain clear verbal consent from every person before filming them. Filming without consent is grounds for immediate account termination.
  • Never film anyone under 18 without written parental or guardian consent. When in doubt about someone's age, do not film them.
  • Respect anyone who declines to be interviewed. Do not pressure, follow, or harass anyone who says no.
  • Inform subjects that their footage may be used on YouTube, social media, or in advertising before they agree to participate.
  • Follow all local laws regarding filming in public spaces. Laws vary by city, state, and country.

Prohibited Content

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Content promoting violence, illegal activity, or dangerous behavior.
  • Staged, scripted, or fabricated interviews presented as authentic. All footage must be genuine.
  • Harassment of any kind — verbal, physical, or psychological — during or around interviews.
  • Content that violates the dignity of participants or exposes them to public ridicule without their informed consent.
  • Interviews conducted under deceptive premises or involving misleading question framing.

Interviewer Conduct

  • Always identify yourself as conducting interviews for a content platform before filming.
  • Keep interviews respectful, professional, and on-topic. Do not deviate into sensitive personal territory unless the client's approved questions specifically require it.
  • Do not accept or solicit off-platform payment from clients. This results in immediate permanent ban.
  • Deliver all footage on time. If you cannot complete a job, contact the client immediately through in-app chat.
  • Represent WavClip professionally. Your conduct reflects on every creator who uses this platform.

Enforcement

WavClip takes guideline violations seriously. Consequences are tiered based on severity:

Warning: Minor first-time violations with no harm to others.
Temporary suspension: Repeated minor violations or moderate guideline breaches.
Permanent ban with forfeiture of pending payments: Filming without consent, harassment, off-platform payments, fabricated content, violations involving minors.

To report a violation, contact support@wavclip.com with the relevant order ID and details.
