Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use WavClip. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. WavClip reserves the right to terminate any account found to belong to a user under 18.

2. Platform Description

WavClip is a marketplace that connects clients (creators, brands, and businesses) with local interviewers who perform and film street interviews. WavClip is not a party to any agreement between clients and interviewers — it is a technology platform that facilitates the connection.

3. Interviewer Responsibilities

Interviewers must: film safely and follow all applicable local laws; obtain clear verbal consent from every person before filming; deliver footage within the agreed delivery window; not solicit or accept payment outside of the WavClip platform; maintain professionalism and adhere to the Community Guidelines at all times.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must: provide clear, lawful interview questions; review footage fairly and in good faith; submit redo requests constructively with specific actionable feedback; limit redo requests to one per order as per platform policy; not attempt to contact interviewers for payment outside of WavClip.

5. Content Ownership

Upon full payment release and job approval, the client acquires full ownership of all footage delivered for that order. Before approval, all footage remains the property of the interviewer. WavClip retains no ownership rights to footage, but may use platform activity data (anonymized) for analytics and improvement purposes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not: attempt to circumvent the escrow system or pay/receive payment outside of WavClip; upload fraudulent, staged, or fabricated interview footage; harass, threaten, or abuse other users via in-app messaging or otherwise; violate the Community Guidelines; misrepresent their identity, location, or capabilities; create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions.

7. Off-Platform Payments

Any attempt by either party — client or interviewer — to arrange, request, or complete payment outside of the WavClip platform will result in immediate permanent account ban and forfeiture of all pending payments. This policy is strictly enforced with zero tolerance.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

WavClip reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the Payment Policy. Suspended accounts forfeit all pending payments. Appeals may be submitted to support@wavclip.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

WavClip is a technology platform connecting two independent parties. WavClip is not responsible for the content, quality, accuracy, legality, or outcomes of any interviews conducted through the platform. WavClip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform. Total liability is capped at the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WavClip and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Class action waiver applies — all claims must be brought on an individual basis.

12. Modifications

WavClip reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent in-app notice.
